About Little Squeaks Boarding
At Little Squeaks Boarding we love animals and have over 35 years experience of caring for gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, budgies, rats and more! From this we know exactly how worrying it can be to find the right pet boarding care for your much-loved pets when you are away from home and understand that it can feel just 'too much' to ask a friend or relative to clean your pet's cage (but it needs doing)!
We can reassure you that your pet will be treated with lots of love and care whilst with us - they will be safe and secure in our boarding annex that is warm during winter (kept at a minimum of 18 degrees) and kept fresh during the summer! They will receive fresh fruit, vegetables, hay and water everyday and rabbits and guinea pigs will exercise whatever the weather in our indoor run on a vinyl floor (we do not exercise on grass as it can't be disinfected between uses and the weather can prevent it for days on end!) We ask that you provide enough dry food for the duration of your pets stay with us as a change in pellets can easily upset little tummies.
We promise you, whether it is for a weekend, week or more we will care for your pets like they are our own.
Little Squeaks Boarding accommodation
We are pleased to welcome your little pets to stay at Little Squeaks - housed in a fully insulated and heated boarding annex attached to the side of our home. We will provide cages for boarding guinea pigs and rabbits (Ferplast 120 - 118cm long/58.5cm wide/51.5cm high) with time spent everyday in a run with lots of enrichment activities. Our cages are lined with triple layer fleece liners with an absorbent core. These are very soft, stay dry and good for pets with respiratory issues as dust free. Hamsters and gerbils will be housed in their own cages on our heavy duty commercial standard shelving that can accommodate large cages. We have lots of room so any particular requirements (or for other small animals/birds) please just ask and we will see what we can do!
Safe and secure
Little Squeaks is based in a fully secure, brick built annex at our house with a door to the back garden. We are fully insured for all aspects of pet boarding.
Clean and modern
Little Squeaks has been purpose designed and fitted out in 2021. All fixtures and fittings and the floor are fully cleaned between guests using Vets grade disinfectant.
Welcoming and bright
Your pets will be treated as part of our family and given lots of care and attention. They will have the radio on, be chatted to and played with in our comfortable, welcoming Boarding accommodation!
